30-Day Projects
The 30-Day Projects are 100% labors of love for me.
It began last November when my friend, Heather, updated her Facebook
status to say that she was going to do 30 Days of Thanks, and invited
others to play with her.
I was all in. And, I asked her how she would feel about our inviting
anyone and everyone we could reach to play along, too. So we did.
And oodles of people joined us—blogging about it, sharing what
they were thankful for on Facebook and Twitter, and talking with
friends and family about it. It was just awesome.
Then November was over, and the people had so much fun and got
so much from the practice of conscious focus that we decided to
do it again. December was 31 Days of Wishes. And again in Jan—30
Days of Self Care. And in Feb—28 Days of Love. March brought
31 Days of Clearning (the practice of clearing, cleaning, and the
learning that comes with doing it), and April was 30 Days of Organizing.
People kept playing along, and we just kept having a ball.
But by January, I decided I wanted to give more. So I created the
Self Care Salon as part of 30 Days of Self Care where we read Cheryl
Richardson’s fabulous Take Time for Your Life. March
launched the Clearning Salon—with mini classes about the clearning
process. April? Yep—the Organizing Salon—with interviews
with organizing and productivity pros. And in April, I launched
the next Self Care Salon—this time to read Queen of Your Own
Life, by Kathy Kinney and Cindy Ratzlaff.
And the story continues…the details of what we’ve focused
on in the past won’t be as important to you as what we’re
doing currently and in the future, and maybe making sure that you
don’t miss out on hearing about any of it.
So, if you’ve a mind to be updated, please give me your name
(first only is just fine!) and email address and I promise to let
you know (only occasionally—I promise!) what we’re up
to. If you want to keep up with what we’re reading in the Salon,
you can let me know that, here.
And if you’d rather, feel free to bookmark this page, because
you can always come back here and look for our current focus—with
all associated current links--feel free. It’s beautiful to
get info the way you most want it, isn’t it?
I hope you’ll join us in whatever way(s) feel great to you!
